WHAT'S WRONG?

A lot is frighteningly wrong today. Children murder children. Adults kill children - even their own! Elderly men and women are attacked in their own homes. Society is selfish; "ME" comes first. Drugs ruin lives. Sexual perversions are no longer viewed as perversions; immorality is "normal". Lying, stealing and vandalism are commonplace.  The UK, where we live, is rapidly rejecting the ways of God.  I'm sure it is the same in your country if you don't live here.  Immorality is at an alarming level.  Christianity and it's principles are now discriminated against!

The Ten Commandments given by God to Moses around 1639 BC still apply today. Read them in the Bible (Exodus chapter 20) and see what God expects from us. Some say that surely science has proved God does not exist. NONSENSE! Science proves quite the opposite, so beware of atheistic propaganda dressed up as science.  There are thousands of Bible believing top scientists.   When we die we have to account to God for what we have done and it will make no difference to God if we say, "Everyone else did it".  I can assure you God is alive and well - I know, I spoke to Him this morning.
 

ARE YOU READY FOR YOUR  ETERNITY? (It could be nearer than you think!)

A tradition enthusiastically adopted by the public in general is that when we die we go to our own personal heaven (i.e., that heavenly golf club in the sky) and do what we like doing the most - forever.  At funerals we're told everyone goes to heaven (who wants to upset grieving relatives?) but that's not true. You have to be all right with God before you die! If you don't believe in Jesus then those comforting words in the Bible don't apply.

WE MAKE OUR DECISION IN THIS LIFE.  C. S. Lewis said; "Christianity is either false and therefore of no importance, or true and therefore crucially important. Christianity cannot be moderately important."  Sitting on the fence being lukewarm is not an option and is very risky.  Jesus said those that are not for Him - are against Him and He will have the last word!

WHAT HAPPENS WHEN WE DIE?  At death we pass into the next world, fully conscious and where now your future eternity is unchangeable.  There is no second chance.  Jesus will either have saved you from the wrath of God or He will not have - there is no middle ground!  You will either receive a glorious welcome from Jesus if you have chosen Him in this life, or, like the majority, you will pass into the gloom of damnation where there will be "weeping and gnashing of teeth".  They will have all eternity to go over and over their unending regret and brood over squandered opportunities.

YOUR FUNERAL:  Whilst your relatives make all those final arrangements, you will be more alive than you've ever been - the question is; will you be experiencing gladness or gloom?  Those of us who find ourselves with Jesus will be with friends and relations who also have believed in Jesus as their Saviour, in this life.  We will take up friendships again so rudely interrupted by death.  Heaven for us will be more wonderful than our wildest dreams.  Treasures we have stored in heaven through our good deeds will be multiplied many times.  Jesus will say well done good and faithful servant.

HELL!  Whereas those who are lukewarm or reject Jesus or believed in a counterfeit Jesus and do not know Jesus as their personal Saviour, have a very different end.  Rejected by God for not being perfect (sinless), they will be judged on what they have done with their life, their deeds.  They will have to pay for their own imperfections (sins).  They will find themselves in a place we generally call 'hell' where they will relive past mistakes and live the lives of others they have abused.  Imagine the 'hell' of Adolf Hitler - forever!  The woman who seduced the man outside marriage and the man who allowed himself to be seduced will receive their terrible punishment.  It will make no difference if they say everyone else did it.  The child abuser will live the torment he has caused.  Every action and motive will be exposed.  Inner most thoughts will be shouted from the rooftops!  The pornographer and the porn customer will receive just punishment.  Every lie will receive terrible retribution from God for He hates lies.  Every idle word we have ever spoken will have to be accounted for.  Punishment will fit the offence exactly.  The punishment is the grief and torment of what they could have had.  The God of Wrath has not devised this fiendish punishment, they bring it upon themselves by seeing what they have sacrificed in their eternity!  These "grey" people will go over and over and over things again and again....
 

WHAT CAN YOU DO?

Get yourself right with God now. We all do things wrong and the Bible calls this sin. God will reject us because of this when we pass into the next world, fully conscious but God's awesome retribution can be avoided.  If we place our trust in Jesus, our advocate, He has said to God, His Father that He has paid that terrible price for us already.  He has already saved all those who believe in Him. Blessed is He.

BE BORN AGAIN:
Instead of being cast out from the presence of God to a place the Bible calls Hell to be punished for the things we have done wrong, you can avoid this? Jesus said the only way to God was through Himself. This is why Jesus took upon Himself all our imperfections (sins), whatever we've done. He died by shedding his blood on the cross and rose to life again for you. You have to accept this gift from Jesus which He called being "born again". Sadly most people never take it and end up paying the price for sin (imperfections) themselves. This is true whether you believe it or not! You can also go to church all your life and do good things and worthy though those things are, you will still have to pay the price yourself if you have not taken that gift from Jesus, as you are not perfect.

WATCH OUT FOR FALSE PROPHETS AND TEACHERS:  Bear in mind that there are many clergymen who have never accepted this gift and are really just managers in an organisation.  You will see them appearing on television or radio, archbishops, bishops and ministers who are just "religionists" bound up in an organisation they call a "church", stating there was no resurrection of Jesus, no virgin birth, homosexuality is okay and so on.  They are part of the lost - heading for "hell".  Conversely, there are many clergymen who are "born again" and who are fine Christians and I know some myself for whom I have great respect.

NO OTHER WAY:
There is no other way to God than through Jesus, what ever your beliefs. The Bible tells us that sometime soon everyone will have to get down on their knees before Jesus and acknowledge Him as Lord of all; better do it in this life whilst He can still save you!
 

HOW CAN YOU DO IT?

We must all receive Jesus as our personal Saviour and allow Him to be Lord of our lives by personal invitation. First, we need to believe Jesus died for us and rose to life again. If you find this difficult pray and ask God to help you believe. Second, pray this prayer with a sincere attitude:

"Dear God, I confess I have done things wrong and I know I am separated from You. I ask You to forgive me. I now believe Jesus died on the cross in my place and that I am forgiven. I believe You raised Jesus from the dead and He is alive today. I invite You Lord Jesus to come into my life and ask You to help me live it in a way You desire. Amen."
 

WARNING!

In addition to the false teaching clergymen mentioned above, the world is flooded with deception and false prophets.  Some of this deception comes to us in the form of pseudo Christian CULTS such as Mormons, Jehovah's Witnesses, Christian Scientists etc. Have nothing to do with them - they will lead you to hell.  For example; the Mormon "Jesus" is a product of the founder's imagination  - he is just a false Jesus and cannot save you. WHAT TO DO NOW:

Tell someone you have become a Christian. This is known as confessing Jesus with your lips so you can't get away with telling the cat. Fellowship with other Christians where Jesus is glorified and beware of dead churches.  Your next step should be to be baptised by immersion which is an outward witness for Jesus.  Then be baptised with the Holy Spirit.
